The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is the state agency responsible for operation and maintenance of commercial aviation, maritime, and certain bridge facilities in and around the Port of Boston. The planning unit of its planning division formulates plans for development and modification of Massport facilities, including submitting such plans and related feasibility studies to the Massport executive board for action. Series consists of plans and views of related urban projects created as reference to support these activities, and, if approved, to serve as basis for architectural and engineering drawings by the engineering division.
